DECATUR, Ill. – Before the umpire shouted “play ball” at Sunday’s St. Louis Cardinals/Chicago Cubs game, took the field under the lights of Busch Stadium.
Pribbenow, ǿý's new President, threw out the ceremonial first pitch when the Cubs faced the Cardinals on August 10.
Before meeting some ǿý alumni members at the game, Pribbenow and guests got to visit the field and tour the stadium.
After a rain delay that pushed the start of the game back an hour, the Cardinals held off a Cubs rally in the 9th inning to win, 3-2.
