Nancy was born in Chicago, Il., the daughter of James and Ruth Lawrence. The family moved to Springfield in 1938. Nancy was a graduate of Springfield High School and attended ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University. She was married 40 love-filled years to her next-door neighbor, Robert (Bob) R. Lewis. Nancy was a 50-year member of P.E.O. Chapter DC, Springfield, and State Treasurer of the Illinois State Chapter P.E.O. for fifteen years. She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church Springfield, Il. and, after moving, of Christ Church Sugar Land.
