Waneta M. Moses, 105, of Decatur, IL, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024, at Primrose Retirement Community of Decatur, IL, surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of Waneta’s life will be held at a later date. Memorials in Waneta’s honor may be made to: Westminster Presbyterian Church or Kemmerer Village, 941 N 2500 East Rd, Assumption, IL 62510.
Waneta was born October 1, 1918, in Rural Sidney, Champaign County, IL, the daughter of George L. and Lora E. (Witt) Trick. She earned her B.A. from ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University, graduating in the class of 1941. Waneta was active in Sigma Alpha Iota Music Sorority at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½. She married J. David Moses on June 5, 1943 in Mt. Pulaski, IL. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1998.
