ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University's School of Nursing, in conjunction with Decatur Memorial Hospital, offers the opportunity for the registered nurse who holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) to complete the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with specialization in Nurse Anesthesia.

The Nurse Educator track is designed for nurses who seek opportunities teaching in a school of nursing, a continuing education program or a staff development role. A strong emphasis is placed on experiential learning opportunities focusing on teaching pedagogy and assessment of learning.

ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½'s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP): Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is a clinical doctorate program designed to prepare nurses with a BSN or MSN for the highest level of clinical expertise and advanced practice nursing.

For nurses who want to complete the practice doctorate as their highest earned academic degree, the Doctor of Nursing Practice APRN Completion Program is a practice-focused doctorate similar in scope to those practice doctorates offered in other professional disciplines.

The Doctor of Nursing Practice Completion in Leadership Program is for registered nurses holding a master's degree in nursing who want to complete the practice doctorate as their highest earned academic degree. Designed for individuals with non-nursing bachelor’s degrees, the Master's Entry Into Nursing Practice (MENP) is an accelerated, full-time program facilitates your smooth transition into professional nursing. ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½â€™s MENP program is one of only a handful of accredited programs in Illinois.
